UGLY MUS-TARD
Ugly Mus-tard
(Real)

The Debut album from Dallas-based
Ugly Mus-tard is a scathing display of shredded rhythmic chords and decapitated melodic riffs that feud along a narrow, pock-marked path littered with metallic grooves and techno grinds. Ugly Mus-tard's (K. Barker, vocals, E. Trent, guitar/keyboards, M. Daane, bass, F. Rush, drums) clashing elements form a restless truce that inevitably erupts into callous, blasting vocal yells, pulsating synth chords, driving bass lines and seething drum slams. After a few listens you'll find that the only weak point within this CD is that there are only 10 tracks, otherwise the entire album is a pleasure to listen to if you're into heavy industrial music. "High" will be shipped as a single to rock radio but other focus tracks include "Twist and Shake" and "Inkblot." Don't miss the blistering grinds of "I Owe it all to You" and "Ill" or the moshing licks of "Was." Ugly Mus-tard's first effort is extremely impressive and will capture the interest of your hard rock audience with their explosive industrial sound.
